Photographing Lilli on the beautiful campus of MSU was so fun! Lilli wanted to be surrounded by flowers with a bit of a bohemian/Free People feel. Knowing that parents want classic framed photos for the wall as well, we did a nice mix of trendy/classic, and we were all so happy with the results. This session was extra special, because I went to high school with Lilli’s mom and Lilli is the her mom’s mini me. I felt as if I was photographing my high school best friend the entire session. I met Ava when she was 11 months old and babysat her regularly throughout my years in college. Last week I took her senior portraits- I cannot believe it!

Ava wanted urban and natural, so we headed to downtown Lansing which has a good mix of both. Downtown Lansing is quickly becoming one of my favorite locations because of all of the diverse backgrounds and ease of navigating it (and free/easy parking!). I LOVE how they turned out!
