Your full wedding experience begins with an intimate engagement session where you are given an opportunity to become comfortable in front of the camera. Through the engagement session, I come to understand your preferences, and we get to know each other. This enables you to relax so that I can capture your authentic emotions. Through this experience, you'll feel more at ease in front of the camera, enabling us to document more genuine moments on your wedding day so that you receive those natural images, which are what so many of my clients desire.
Preparation and Timeline
From here, we work together closely to understand your vision, preferences, and any specific requirements for your wedding. Based on the information gathered during this process, we'll create a preliminary outline of your timeline, revising and refining until it allows for the perfect wedding day schedule to capture your vision. We work closely with your planner throughout this process as well so that your special day will be documented with professionalism and attention to detail.
The Wedding Day
On the wedding day, we will provide seamless coverage, ensuring every moment is captured with intention and precision from intricate details and bridal prep through to the celebratory reception. From laughing with your bridesmaids, to cheering with the groomsmen, first looks and walking down the aisle clutching the arm of your loved one, heartfelt exchange of vows, grand entrances and romantic first dances, to finally dancing the night away. Everything is captured naturally and creatively, with attention to detail through the use of light and composition.
A Team of Photographers
All wedding days are serviced by a team of at least two photographers. By having two photographers, we are allowed to be in two places at once, capturing the anticipation of bridal preparation at the same time as the groom has a celebratory cheers with his guys. We can carefully plan to stand in two different angles during the ceremony, one photographing close ups of our couples’ faces, while the other is in the main aisle, taking wide shots of the floral arches, altars, and guests. And at the reception, one of us can capture the candids of the guests and food spreads and details, while the other focuses on the couple, allowing for a collection of photographs that truly tells the full story of the day. When circumstances require it, we bring an additional team member to ensure that all facets of the day are captured, even with larger guest counts, longer days, multi day events, and condensed timelines.
Curated Gallery of Images
After the wedding, I meticulously undertake post-processing procedures to ensure the preservation and enhancement of every captured moment. I adhere to industry-leading practices, including the meticulous backing up of files in multiple secure locations to guarantee the safety of your memories. My editing process encompasses precise color correction, fine-tuning of saturation and brightness levels, and the transformation of select images into artistic black and white renditions. Within a week of your wedding, I present you with an extensive highlight gallery, offering a glimpse into your special day. The complete curated gallery is delivered thereafter, showcasing the full wedding day, allowing you to relive every single moment- even ones you weren’t aware had happened. .
Heirloom Albums
For those who wish to complete the full wedding experience with an heirloom album, memories are preserved in a stunning, custom made leather or fabric album. This 10x10 40-page wedding album is a piece of art that is carefully designed to showcase a mix of full-page images, collages, and smaller detail shots to capture the essence of the wedding day. The images are printed using high-quality archival ink and paper to ensure longevity and color accuracy. Each page is thick and sturdy to withstand frequent handling and preserve the photos for years to come. The design of the album is meticulously curated, with attention to detail in every aspect, from the arrangement of photos to the typography embossed on the high quality leather or linen covers. Each spread tells a story, capturing the emotions, moments, and highlights of the wedding day, from the anticipation of getting ready to the joy of the ceremony and the celebration of love at the reception. The album is bound using a durable method such as lay-flat binding, allowing the pages to lie completely flat when opened for a seamless viewing experience.
Custom Collections
I offer bespoke collections tailored to the unique preferences and needs of each client. Through personalized consultations, we collaboratively curate a collection that reflects your individual needs, ensuring that every aspect of your vision is captured and preserved. We determine the number of events you need covered, devise a team of photographers, and talk about how you want to display and view your images following the wedding. Investment varies based on duration and size of the event, travel and location, additional services desired such as welcome parties and engagement sessions, as well as any heirloom albums added on.
